This ensemble was made for the 2005 Bernina Fashion Show. The three-piece garment includes a full length silk coat, a short jacket and a midi skirt. All were made with hand dyed silk by Dianne Smith. Strip piecing as well as my collage curves technique with hand-made silk bias tape covering curbed edges. Metallic-thread machine quilting.
Garment Measurements: Coat- circumference at full bustline 48", circumference at hip 47", sleeve length shoulder to wrist 23 1/2", front length shoulder to bottom 52", back length top of ruffle to bottom of hem ruffle 58". Short Jacket- Circumference at full bustline 38", shoulder to sleeve bottom 23 1/2", mid-shoulder to bottom of jacket 22", high back sleeve seam to sleeve seam 15". Skirt: waist circumference with unexpanded elastic 27", skirt has waist elastic and center back zipper. Hip at 8" down from waist 37", length at side seam from under elastic 37", length at center back 39".
Maximum body measurements of bust 34", waist 26", hip 35".
