Color Kit

Color Kit.  Here is a good starter kit for learning more about color and making some references materials to understand better how to use it.  Kit includes: 1. A Packet of 84 fabric swatches 1 3/4" x 3 1/2".  These represent 12 pure colors from the 12-step color wheel, each including a swatch of the pure color and three varying degrees of tints of the color and 3 varying degrees of the shades of the color.  These swatches will be used to fill in a 2-page chart of 7 values of each color; leftover fabric from the swatches will have a use in another exercise. 2. Two pages of an empty chart to which you may glue the appropriate color swatches to make the Value chart for the twelve colors. 3. A black 12-step color wheel to which you will glue pieces of the remaining fabric swatches from the pack of 84 swatches.  4. A template to use for cutting the color wheel shapes from the remaining fabric swatches. 5. A small sample 12-step color wheel with room for a swatch of multicolored printed fabric from your stash to determine it's color scheme. 6. A page of color-related terms and their meanings for increasing your color vocabulary. 7. A bibliography of useful books on color. 7.  Color copies of painted, seven value each of 12 pure colors and 3 tints and shades of each. 8.  A page of painted tints, shades and pure values and another selection of tones of the same color (the pure color with both white and black added in varying degrees, producing "muddy" versions of the color.  9.  A document giving color information and instructions for how to use what is in the kit.
