Circles and Stripes Forever with Arrows 3

Circles and Stripes Forever + Arrows 3, Pieced Cotton. 17 1/4" x 17 1/4"  1988.  Some hand quilting; you may want to do more. After I made my first Circles and Stripes Forever quilt, I decided to make a more and call it a series.  At the time, I took great satisfaction in challenging my piecing skills and doing things that were very hard.  This little quilt was one of the hard ones.  Although I was capable and I did like the results, I also learned that the degree of difficulty of a quilt was not necessarily a measure of it's visual success.  Furthermore, using these kinds of quilts to promote classes often scared students away. I stopped using hard quilts to promote classes.
