Checkerboard Transitions Quilt

Made as the most difficult (or at least time consuming) of the "lesson" quilts in my "Shifting Perspectives" book, I used the checkerboard motif, as I was also teaching this technique at the time. I increased the number of blocks from nine to twenty-five and cut smaller blocks from the large blocks than I had before, resulting in a slower (or more nuanced) transition from each corner to its opposite. 49 3/4" x 50" Machine Quilted. $950 plus shipping
