Growing Up in A Dangerous World Quilt

This was in my first book in the "Help for Problem Quilts" chapter.  In the original version, the background print was too busy for my liking (after I had it all sewn together!).  I considered my options and settled on painting the background with a warm gray textile paint it a way that left hints of the original background's visual texture so it wouldn't be too flat and would resemble concrete. 1997  44 1/2" x 49" Pieced and Machine quilted. $650 plus shipping
