Christmas Quilt 2

When I was teaching Basic Quilting back in the 70s, 80s and 90s, I did lots of demos on piecing and applique skills the students were using to make sampler blocks.  In each class I would choose a different fabric combination and wind up, each class, with a pile of  with  partly made blocks and many cut pieces and the leftover fabric.  In the Covid isolation of 2020 and 2021, I discovered a bag of bags of started quilts in my studio closet. This was one of them.  When I got to the binding, there was nothing there that would work, but I found a perfect piece in a box in my attic!  Don't let anyone tell you to throw away anything you have kept and not used for 2 years.  I've had that binding fabric for at least 20!  I've been having a blast finishing things!   39" x 39". Machine pieced and hand appliqued cotton.  Machine quilted, polyester batting.
